QOS چیست ؟

QOS در واقع مکانیزمی برای افزایش کیفیت ارتباطات است که در این کتاب کلیه ارتباطات LAN , WAN و VPN را برررسی خواهیم کرد

در واقع در این مکانیزم ما به دنبال ایجاد شرایط بهتر و با کیفیت تر برای راهندازی ارتباطات هستیم به عنوان مثال در شبکه های که هدف انتقال صدا و تصویر در شبکه است

سرعت انتقال و کیفیت آن از اهمیت بالایی برخوردار  است چرا که در این شبکه ها اگر بیش از 10 میلی ثانیه بین انتقال پکت ها وقفه باشد

این شبکه های قابلیت اطمینان خود را از دست می دهد و صدا و تصویری که بر روی پکت های IP سوار شده اند با تاخیر خواهند رسید
